- To send in your tool, print out the Service Authorization Form by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. Be sure to include your name, return shipping address and phone number on the form. Include the completed form with the tool when shipped.
- State as specific as possible any problems you are having with the tool(s).
- If you believe the tool is under warranty include a copy of your dated purchase receipt. You will be notified prior to any repairs if the warranty does not apply.
- A quote for any repairs is provided within 48 hours of receiving your tool(s) and is good for 14 days. If you accept the charges as stated, we will collect the necessary credit card information and repair your tool(s) - usually that same day. If you decline the repair, we charge your credit card $30 per tool to cover diagnostic time and return shipping. Your tool(s) will be shipped back in the condition received.
- We can only return tools with the factory specified safety features installed and in operational order. Any missing safety features will be installed on tools before return shipment. You will be charged for the installation of missing safety features so please make certain they are installed before shipping us the tool(s).
- Provide at least one strip of fasteners if the tool is having a nail related problem.
- Include the battery with Cordless nailers.
- Fuel cells for Cordless nailers require special handling for shipment. Therefore, we ask that you do not ship fuel cells with Cordless nailers.
- Pack tools securely using bubble wrap, Styrofoam packing, etc. ITW Construction Service & Parts is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Tools may be shipped UPS, FedEx, Parcel Post or whichever system is convenient for you.
